Bill brings more than 40 years of experience in the Wellington drainage industry. His extensive knowledge of the region’s drainage networks ensures clients receive informed, practical solutions to even the most complex issues. Silver Lining Contracting (SLC) was established after Bill concluded four decades of service with Wellington City Council’s CitiOperations team.
​
Founded in 2011 with the support of his wife, Robyn, and son, Mason, the company initially focused on fibre installation and minor drainage works. Over time, SLC has grown in capability, reputation, and scope.

Today, Silver Lining Contracting is an approved contractor for Wellington City Council, PAE and the Wellington Water Ltd, delivering high‑quality work backed by deep industry expertise and a commitment to reliable service.
